2010 Executive Inn Vendors:

Kirk Brock of Rock Solid Jade has found a simple and economic solution to the 2010 Executive Inn Show uncertainties for whichever way hotel ownership goes at the Trustee’s sale set for December 4, 2009. He sent an advisory email to the room dealers earlier this week.

Mr. Yadav may or may not own the Hotel or be able to provide a show after the sale. The front desk is making room reservations for the show period without room deposits or show fees, and is giving confirmation numbers.

If Mr. Yadav has possession by show time, those dealers booking rooms will have their selected showroom space, without having to pay any show fee.

If a bidder other than Mr. Yadav prevails and I remain as show manager for the winning bidder, the room reservations made with the Hotel now will be honored, and those dealers will have their chosen show space without paying an additional show fee.

So either way, room dealers booking their preferred showrooms now could have their chosen show space without paying any room deposit or additional show fee. Their only expense would be the room rates. Those would of course be an expense regardless who owns the Hotel. If I am managing, the room rate will be the amount provided by the original contract.

To take advantage of this opportunity, those wishing to have a room at the EI should call and book with the front desk at (520) 791-7551, and get a confirmation number. Dealers who act now will be assured of a show space if Mr. Yadav is the owner or if I manage for the other, winning bidder. In either event, there would be no more show fees to pay.

My interest is in seeing the dealers have a show in a place of their choice without additional show fee expense. Mr. Brock’s approach should accomplish that. Ask him.
